  1. Hang in there Rachel. Maybe you lost inches instead of pounds. YOU have came a long way already…this is just a hole in the road, move around it and keep doing what you are doing…Happy Birthday

  2. Rachel, have you thought about doing burst training or high intensity short interval work outs ? I was feeling the same way as you, working out and not really dropping weight as fast as I thought I should. But I changed over to working out 10-15 minutes a session with weights every other day but lifting heavy to increase my breathing to a point I can not carry on a conversation, then resting for a minute or 2 and repeating. The science seems to suggest this anaerobic approach to exercise depletes all your sugar storage in your liver and muscles immediately and then your body switches over to burning fat for the next 24-48 hours post-workout. It's helped me get more steady weight losses week to week.! I also do 18 hour intermittent fasting to increase HGH and keep insulin levels low. You doing a great job ! Keep the faith :)

  3. Happy Birthday!!! Please don't be discouraged. This lifestyle is more than weight loss and gains. You have lost a lot of weight in 20 weeks so be proud of that. Take a look into the types of recommended exercise on Keto. Exercise does not make you lose weight. It helps your stamina and heart health. 80% of weight loss is what you eat. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and weight training are highly recommended on the Keto diet because too much cardio at one time creates cortisol in the body which can cause stalls and changes in your glucose levels. Try and do some research about it on the internet and read some books about the ketogenic diet. Amazon has a lot of free and low cost Kindle books on the Ketogenic diet. If you haven't read it yet you should get Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore. It's an excellent resource. If you don't have a Kindle, download the Kindle app to your computer and you can access them. There are a lot of videos on YouTube about it as well. Exercise less and you get better results. Here is one by Abel James the creator of the Wild Diet, the guy from Shaun T's show "My diet is better than yours" https://youtu.be/Ld6n57Klq7E. The Ketogenicgirl also has a video about exercise as well but there is a lot more information about it. Knowledge is power so keep researching. Just an FYI…. a pound of fat weighs the same as a pound of muscle. 1 pound is 1 pound. Muscle, water, fat, etc. Muscle takes up less space in the body but weighs the same. http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=8311. This is a journey not a sprint. There will be ups and downs but keep pushing forward. You are not same, you are better than the first day you started. Your weight will fluctuate so you should take your measurements, take pictures, and look at your clothes and how they fit too see your overall progress. Oh yeah and don't forget to focus on how much more energy you have, how clear your mind is, and how good you feel compared to before you started. Keep going and keep pushing!!! You got this. Your success is not defeated by a .6 pound weight gain.

  4. Hugs, you are doing amazing! ! I have been watching your vids, keep going. I have been contemplating starting my channel, I have just been doing mine offline. I only weigh in once a month bcz the scale is the devil, it will deter you with the numbers as they fluctuate daily depending on so many factors, water, fat loss, muscle build. .. KEEP PUSHING Rachel, we got this! !!

  5. Don't get discouraged, hang in there, I'm on a keto diet also, I been stagnant for a couple of weeks now,but I can tell that I'm losing inches, so take your measurement and pictures you can see a difference, sometimes the scale aren't accurate to what we put in, and lifting weights also slow down the weight loss, but you are still losing just at a different rate…

  6. I would say to continue doing what you're doing. Muscle weighs more than fat. Take your measurements. Also, how many carbs and fats are you taking in? I think you are doing fine, but don't get discouraged. Good luck on continued success. You will get there.
