  1. I have a question. My mom's gone keto with me for about 2 months now and she loves the diet. She's lost like 11lbs. The thing is, she doesn't want to lose more weight (oh, how jealous I get). So, any advice on how to stop losing weight? I've told her to eat more to compensate any calorie intake deficit, but she says she just can't eat more.

  2. I am not particularly sensitive to dairy/lactose but I definitely monitor how much I consume in a day to ensure it isn't pushing me past my carb or protein levels. I think people go hog wild on the dairy thinking its a freebee and blow their target macros. This can really mess you up while you are going through initial fat adaptation. If you are in and out of ketosis when still adapting you will never adapt.

When I was in the first 2 months of adaptation the only dairy I had was butter and a bit of cream cheese I used in fat bomb recipes. I think less dairy in the beginning is definitely better/safer.

  3. Cultured and fermented I do OK with, but any other is a real issue with me. I know it is because of the sugar being devoured by the fermenting process.  I cringe at times when I see the loads of cheese on recipes on IG. I did try it and it did not work well for me at all. Eventually I had to stop. I actually am not missing it, but love the fermented items. I too think it has to be grassfed. The hormones and antibiotics in dairy is horrible.Great video!!
